As this challenging time impacts all our daily lives,
we are united in support of our global community
We wish health and safety for our global community, and are indebted to front-line healthcare workers, and first responders, across our nation. Â These are unpresented times, which will bring forth a spirit of collaboration and solidarity.
We’re here to help in any way that we can. SyncScript  has the opportunity to work with well-educated, and well qualified, 100% remote workforce.  This is the foundation of what we offer: global reach, 24/7 availability, and a built-in continuity plan. To that end, we’re also giving our team more flexibility to attend to challenges at home.
Let us help you navigate this new normal.  We’re work-from-home pros! If this is your first go round working from home, or you’re with a houseful of family members, here’s a few            best practices that we have mastered over the years.
- Keep a separate space for you to work.
While trying to work among others “seems” like a great idea, it’s also extremely distracting. If you are working on something with a strict deadline or that requires a lot of focus, find a quiet space where you are free of distractions and you’ll finish it way faster (& produce more quality work) by keeping things separate.
- Don’t hibernate in your home office: take a lunchtime walk!
Come out once in a while, stretch your legs, interact. It’s very easy to get consumed in the world that is the computer workplace. Just like you would at the office, take a break every few hours to keep your sanity.
- Maintain as much routine as possible.
It will keep you productive, accountable & you’ll maximize your day without overwhelming yourself. Not to mention, you’re gaining back all that commute time!
- Keep to your standard working times.
Know when it’s time to unplug and wrap up your day. Try to maintain as much work/life balance as possible, even when it’s hard!
- Let your pets join you!
While we don’t recommend your expectation being to do your usual work with your whole household by your side, we do love the company of our furry friends. They’ll keep you warm (if they find their seat on your lap) or just offer some sense of companionship. The best part? They don’t talk back or too much.
- Don’t procrastinate! It’s a work-from-home curse.
Don’t put it off or drag your feet. Move along with projects and deadlines just like you normally would. You’ll thank yourself later.
- Appreciate your new relaxed wardrobe.
Embrace the comfy clothes and give your business casual a break, you’ll look forward to when you get to put it back on!
- Don’t forget routine hygiene. Your housemate will thank you.
It’s so easy to do, but so important to not forget. If you feel better, you’ll work better.
During this time, there are a number of people offering resources that will offer some insight and help you navigate what working from home looks like for you. LinkedIn is offering a number of courses accessible to everyone! Check them out here!
In light of all of this however, we are trying to take this time to celebrate the little things. For many of you, your coworkers may be looking a little bit different these days, for some on our team, they’re the same. Let’s celebrate our furry friends keeping us company with a little shout out on social media. Post a picture of your new “workmates” with the hashtag #WorkFurHome over the next few weeks. Let’s give our pets some well-deserved recognition for never leaving us hanging! Check ours out & follow us if you’re not already!
As always, take care of yourselves, stay productive & stay healthy!
